3 product that is not what they say (wrongly marketed)

Here on 90zkids we have a goal providing good information to our readers. So this article was necessary as in our country lot of foods are marketed as health drinks and stuff like that but they are actually not at all what they say. So lets get started and understand what products are they.

1.Nutella

Uhh , surpriced to hear this, well this is on of the thing that is marketed very wrongly. Lot of people consume it in the morning with breakfast.

It is marketed as “Nutella loves breakfast” and “Nutella is goodness of Hazelnuts with hint of cocoa”

It is written on the the front level. Well according to this, it should be healthy right? Well no, the truth comes when we see the back lable of the the packaging and the incredients. Lets dive into it.

Nutritional Info:

  • 1 serving = 15g
  • Energy = 0.9 g
  • Carbohydrate = 8.6g
  • Sugar = 8.5 g
  • Fat = 4.7g

Out of 8.6 grams of carbohydrate, most of them come from sugar, like 8.5 grams. Well, when we compare that, it is actually equal to eating bread and 2 tablespoon sugar. It is not healthy at home. There is a reason why we on 90z kids put so much pressure on having jaggery or honey instead of chemically procced sugar. Hazelnuts are just 13 percent and a little bit of cocoa and rest is sugar and edible vegetable oil which is also not healthy.

2. Bournvita

Well when we are kids, our parents give us this because they think that it is healthy. It is marketed as ”Tann ki Shakti Mann Ki shakti”. Let’s find out the truth.

Just turn the bournvita and see the label. One serving of bournvita means 2 small spoons will give you 17 g of carbohydrates and just 1.4 g of protein ( I mean really ) Out of those carbs 14.6 g is sugar, that means having two small spoons of bourn vita is like having 3 spoons of sugar. This means you are just your kid’s sugar. This product is made of different types of sugar, when I mean sugar I mean lots and lots of sugar.

Also, bournvita is advertised as having lots of vitamin on the front cover. Well, that is not true at all. The vitamins that an average person should be consuming, the amount of vitamins in Bournvita is less than recommended vitamins that should be taken daily. So it is just useless to take it. The thing that you can do is to have milk instead because it is much more healthy than bournvita + it has more vitamins than it.

3. Sugar-free

It is the most used low calories sweetener in the Indian market and it is the most consumed one as well.  People use it because it is sweet like sugar but with zero calories. Well, this is what the company says. The first ingredient on the list is Lactose, well that Is the name of sugar found in milk. So if you are lactose intolerant then this is not the right product for you. Next is Aspartame which is an artificial sweetener that has a lot of side effects.  Some of the side effects are weight gain, blood pressure and etc.

It has many chemicals that are not good at all for kids, well not just for kids but also for adults, as ingredients contain various chemicals that can harm a lot.

Conclusion:

Never buy any product before looking at its ingredients. Some companies don’t mention their complete ingredients, in that case, research online or contact us, we will do free research for you and get back to you in 2 working days.
